Foot Mercato claims Beşiktaş have already opened talks as they look to strengthen their squad, with Souček and Areola among four Premier League players under consideration. While West Ham’s stance on the approach remains unclear, persuading the London club to part with both players may prove challenging.
There have also been suggestions that West Ham are in discussions with Tottenham Hotspur over a deal for goalkeeper Antonín Kinský, which could potentially pave the way for Areola to move on. However, should either Souček or Areola leave—alongside Paquetá—Nuno would almost certainly require reinforcements before the transfer deadline on Monday.
Hammers Nearing Traoré Deal
In terms of arrivals, GIVEMESPORT sources indicate that West Ham are close to completing the signing of Fulham winger Adama Traoré for a fee in the region of £2 million. The Spaniard, who previously worked under Nuno at Wolves, is believed to be en route to the club’s training ground to undergo a medical and could even be available for the upcoming clash with Chelsea.
